The Brief
For this renovation our clients wanted a space to accommodate a kitchen/living area and flow out onto their patio.
The solution
To incorporate more light into the room Velux windows were placed into the vaulted ceiling. Accentuating the generous height of the space and giving and open airy feel.
We removed the wall between the existing kitchen and dining room which allowed for a large family living and dining area to meet seamlessly. To enlarge the kitchen space a single storey side extension was added along with beautiful bifold doors to create an indoor/outdoor living feel.
As with every project the small details really make a difference. Opting for a low level threshold and equal floor levels between inside and outside really allows a smooth flow when the bifold are open.
