The Brief
Our client’s brief here was to turn a divided downstairs into a large open plan living area. Gary & Pam wanted to incorporate their dream kitchen without compromising on living space.
A large part of the brief was to provide a light and airy feel as the client’s told us their existing kitchen lacked light.
The solution
At the back of the house there was an existing conservatory which we removed and added a vaulted contemporary single storey extension whilst incorporating a glass wall to increase the natural light flow.
We left the clients with a large open plan kitchen and living space with access to their back garden though double French doors surrounded by windows. This created a portal to beautiful outdoor space.
